FIRING YOUR BOSS

Hello again, and welcome to this week’s blog post. It’s all about

FIRING YOUR BOSS.

Do you ever wish you could actually do that?

Perhaps you really enjoy your job, in which case you are very lucky. A satisfying job, that pays you well, is something a lot of people dream about.

I know, because I’ve been there.

However, it didn’t last long enough to let me achieve all the things I wanted to do for my family.

So I went into business for myself, in order to tick my remaining boxes.

I’ll give you a link to my story in a minute, but let me summarise it in a few short sentences.

Having a job inevitably means having a boss.

UNLESS YOU ARE THE BOSS.

Have you ever been laid off/made redundant/”let go”?

I have.

Twice.

It’s not nice, is it, really?

As the breadwinner, you suddenly find yourself without the income you need to feed yourself and your family, pay the bills, etc.

Maybe you can find another job, maybe you can’t. The uncertainty can really bake your noodle.

Being your own boss means you can never be laid off again. And if you do it right, you can lose the commute, pick your own hours, take a holiday when it suits you, and spend way more time with your family and friends.

It’s what I do.

Here’s the link I promised you. It’s a LinkedIn article, so you don’t need to leave the platform in order to read it. (The algorithm hates that).

Now you know what I did and why I did it. I’m nearly finished ticking my boxes, but not quite.

If that kind of lifestyle appeals to you, we should talk.

Message me if you’d like to know more.

See you all again next week, and have a great weekend!

Leslie
